What is pilates?
Regular practice of Pilates can help improve posture, fitness and flexibility. Pilates is a form of exercise that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It focuses on working your core, in turn helping to support your spine and its alignment - often helping people with lower back pain. It lengthens and strengthens muscles, which leads to your body becoming more flexible.
Pilates can help you to improve your balance and, as the mind is focused, also leads to many people finding relaxation and improved concentration. It benefits the younger through to the older generation, the athlete to the less active person.
